Service Advisor
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR / SERVICE WRITER We are seeking an Experienced Automobile Service Writer for our dealerships service department who is motivated with demonstrated service results and looking to continue a career path at Toyota Pasadena
Job Responsibilities As a Service Advisor, you would review vehicle inspections, and estimates, and recommend proper maintenance care to our valued customers’ vehicles for optimal performance. Additional responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers promptly.
- Obtaining customer and vehicle information.
- Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
- Determining and recommending needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of the vehicle.
- Preparing a complete and accurate estimate of the cost for labor and parts.
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
- Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
- Explaining all completed work and charges to customers.
- Detailing customers multi-point inspection and future needs.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a service advisor/writer (Toyota preferred).
- Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction with verifiable results
- A high degree of ownership and accountability with the ability prioritize effectively.
- A high degree of integrity and professionalism with excellent communication skills.
- Above average energy level with the ability to work in a competitive environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid in-state driver's license.
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required prior to hire.

The Service Advisor Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $17.50 and $18.00. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed repair orders achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
